Retreat Terms & Conditions

Payment Policy
To reserve your spot on this retreat, a non-refundable booking fee of a 3rd of the full price per person is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start date of the retreat. If final payment is not received by this date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and make the space available to others. If you anticipate any delays in payment, please reach out to us directly to discuss options.

Cancellation Policy
In these times, we understand there may be unexpected changes. If unforeseen travel restrictions or other issues impact your ability to attend, please ensure you have appropriate travel insurance in place to cover any disruptions, including COVID-19-related delays or cancellations.

For COVID-19-related cancellations or postponements, we offer flexibility to move your booking to a retreat later in the year. We’ll transfer any payments you’ve made to a future date within two (2) years, or you may choose to request a refund, subject to non-retrievable expenses.

Guest Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing. Our cancellation fees are as follows:

  • 90+ Days Before Retreat Start Date: Full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit of £[Deposit Amount] (3rd of full price payment).

  • 60–89 Days Before Start Date: 50% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Less than 60 Days Before Start Date: Non-refundable; no refunds are issued.

Due to our need to confirm bookings and arrangements in advance, exceptions to this policy cannot be made.

Cancellations by Us
If we must cancel or reschedule the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, you may transfer your payment to a future retreat of your choice within the next two (2) years. Alternatively, a full refund will be issued, minus any non-retrievable expenses already committed in anticipation of the retreat.

Travel Documents and Health Requirements
It is each guest’s responsibility to ensure all necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and any health-related documents or immunizations, are valid and up to date. For questions about required documentation, please contact us or your local travel clinic for the latest information.

Acknowledgement & Waiver

Health Considerations
By joining this retreat, you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health, and able to participate in the scheduled activities, including yoga and outdoor excursions. Please inform us of any health concerns prior to booking. Participation in these activities is voluntary, and by booking, you agree to release the organizers from any liability related to your participation.

Personal Release
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you release Hope-Light Retreats and its team from liability for any personal injury, illness, emotional distress, incurred travel costs, or property damage resulting from your participation in this retreat, including unpredictable events such as weather conditions, wildlife, or other acts of nature.

Hope-Light Retreats reserves the right to accept or deny any participant at any time for the wellbeing of the group. If a participant’s behaviour disrupts the retreat experience, Hope-Light Retreats may remove them without any obligation to refund or compensate.

Use of Photography and Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to appear in media that may be used for future marketing. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform us in advance.

Agreement to Terms
By booking a place on this retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
